- Guest House Itokawa
Inexpensive, clean, convenient place to stay in Matsuzaki, Izu Peninsula
Our short time at Nao's house was one of the best experiences we've had in Japan. Nao and his wife are two of the nicest people we've ever met, and it was a pleasure to stay at their home in Matzusaki. Nao does not speak much English, but we were able to communicate very well.
A great place made even better by Nao!/ Michael
This guesthouse was spacious with large common areas. There was lots of magazines and maps in English for us to use. The seaport was about 5 minutes walk and there was a public foot bath right behind the house next to an old historical house that was free to explore and interesting to visit. There was also and old temple across the street.
Great place to stay!/ Debbie
Nao is the nicest airbnb host I've ever had. His house is lovely and the area surrounding is beautiful. Tons of amazing sight seeing to do around Matsuzaki. Highly HIGHLY recommend!!

Great Place to Stay in MatsuzakiI stayed here many years ago and have become great friends with Nao-san who runs the place. He really goes out of his way to make you feel at home and introduce to the local scenic spots, people and events. Guest House Itokawa is conveniently located about a 10 minute walk from the bus station and is close to the ocean, temples, shrines, restaurants, and lots of friendly people!
